		<description>Hi HeeRThorn,

I am having someone look into this now, but from what I can tell, it will work with Windows Server 2008. But here&#039;s the caveat: the Oracle client must be 32-bit, not 64. Otherwise, there will be issues connecting with DataMover.

See &lt;a href=&quot;http://blog.greysparling.com/2009/09/peopletools-850-installation.html&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;this thread over at Grey Sparling&lt;/a&gt; for some discussion about this.

Hope this helps, and sorry for the delay in responding. Our Wordpress spam filter gets aggressive sometimes and quarantines legitimate comments (like yours) as spam.

Let us know if you need any further help. If my answer here is incomplete (or wrong!), I will let you know.</description>

		<description>RD,

Would love to hear your lessons learned. I am sure David Brunet, our PSFT Practice Director, will get around to posting his real-world experiences with PT 8.5 as soon as he has a break from client engagements. In the meantime, if you have your experiences written up, please let me know and I will take a look and link back to them.

Thanks.
