MIPRO Consulting is a Workday implementation partner as well as customer.  We were the first partner to implement Workday HCM and Financials.  In fact, we’ve been involved with Workday since the company launched in 2006, priming 11 out of 43 (and counting) Workday projects.

Position Description
We’re looking for smart, driven, customer-facing professionals to join our team of Workday consultants who are helping customers successfully implement Workday’ SaaS-based HCM, Financials and Payroll solutions. Being a member of the Workday ecosystem means customer success and satisfaction is not just a goal, but a passion.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test and deploy application solutions for Workday clients.
  • Advise clients on configuration strategies that meet their current and planned business requirements.
  • Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Understand and communicate the concepts behind increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems while also reducing costs through improved processes and technologies.
  • Document all stages of the project, including but not limited to: configuration decisions and settings, business processes and requirements.
  • Directly interact with the Workday team that performs quality assurance reviews throughout the project.
  • Be a spokesperson: support the client relationship for MIPRO Consulting and new business development activities.
  • Strong project management mindset: effectively track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns via status reports and communication to management.
  • Participate in global and domestic Workday implementations.

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of HCM application implementation leadership. You should be an expert in at least one of the following areas: Human Resources Management, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation Management, Recruiting.
  • HR practitioner at some point in your career is a plus (SPHR, GPHR, PHR, CCP, CBP or CPP certifications are a plus!)
  • The ability to understand and express HRM in patterns (i.e. in objects) a considerable plus.
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle and have expertise in software implementation methodologies based on industry best practices.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a strong and effective communicator and possess the ability to interact with all levels of an organization (from practitioner to Executive Management).
  • Must have strong analytical skills for debugging and problem resolution.
  • Must have the ability to effectively work as a remote member of a virtual team.
  • Strong self-discipline to intelligently prioritize and focus on deliverables, as up to 90% of the work may be performed remotely.
  • Highly proficient at managing workload and schedule to meet concurrent project commitments and timelines.
  • Four-year degree and/or equivalent business experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Passion for customer service and working with leading edge enterprise technologies.
