In 2018; it was determined that the new ASC842 accounting standards change for payables/lessee leases would impact CHN in 2019. This session will cover the implementation of the PeopleSoft Lease Administration module (formerly Real Estate Management) into an existing PeopleSoft v9.2 environment. NYUMC went live with PeopleSoft Financials v9.0 while their Real Estate Department remained on their own internal subsystems. NYUMC upgraded from PeopleSoft v9.1 to v9.2 with the Lease Administration project beginning soon thereafter. Discussion points will cover product features, benefits of system consolidation, challenges and project details to bring NYUMC’s Real Estate Department onto PeopleSoft Lease Administration.

Seminole State College of Florida relies on a PeopleSoft back office financial and supply chain solution to accomplish their mission, vision and strategic goals. They utilize their highly experienced staff to maintain and support their PeopleSoft solution. Seminole State’s leadership uncovered an opportunity to take advantage of integrating new PeopleSoft functionality to the school’s existing PeopleSoft financials and supply chain footprint. The new PeopleSoft functionality enabled automated tracking and management of school assets. MIPRO has implemented and deployed PeopleSoft ALM with many different approaches depending on an organization’s needs and situation. Once MIPRO met with Seminole State, it became clear that their team was very experienced with PeopleSoft. Leveraging this experience MIPRO created a unique approach to support the implementation of ALM.

Getting to FMS 9.2 Quickly & Cost Effectively: Learning Care Group (Session ID: 105410)

LCG partnered with a MIPRO/SmartERP team to complete their PeopleSoft FSCM upgrade from 8.8 to 9.2 leveraging a hybrid onsite/offshore upgrade approach consisting of an onsite presence for execution of MIPRO’s BluePrint Workshop, program management, offshore coordination, fit/gap analysis, and knowledge transfer in support of the final move to production. Wanting to control their upgrade costs, and taking into consideration the degree of impact for the user community, LCG opted to set aside a predetermined number of hours towards adoption of new functionality and features available in 9.2. The LCG team was very diligent in prioritizing the list of features they were interested in after completion of the Fit/Gap sessions.

MILFORD, Mich., June 02, 2015

Milford, Mich.-based MIPRO Consulting (MIPRO), a consultancy focused on implementations, upgrades and optimizations of Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications, announced the successful “go-live” of an Oracle’s PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM upgrade at Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, dedicated to fighting breast cancer globally through research, community programs and advocacy. MIPRO Managing Partner Jeff Micallef made the announcement.

Specifically, in this project, MIPRO upgraded Komen’s 9.0 PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) to 9.2. The upgrade included PeopleSoft Accounts Payable, Purchasing, General Ledger, Billing, Receivables, Project Costing, Treasury (Cash Management), e-Procurement, & Expenses. This PeopleSoft upgrade is designed to take advantage of the new functionality within 9.2, reduce customizations, and improve efficiencies wherever possible.

“Large scale FSCM upgrades like this are highly complex in nature. However, by leveraging MIPRO’s proven processes and delivery model, we are able to reduce the duration for such roll-outs and regularly meet aggressive go-live timelines,” said Micallef. “Strategically upgrading to PeopleSoft 9.2 will help Susan G. Komen enhance efficiencies and streamline internal business processes, resulting in improved capabilities to support their mission of eliminating breast cancer.”

The project got underway in April of 2014 and officially went live in November, 2014.
