MIPRO Recognized as a 2012 Cool Places to Work

MILFORD, Mich., November 5, 2012 MIPRO, a Milford, Mich.-based consultancy specializing in implementations, upgrades and optimizations of Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications, announced that they were selected as one of the 2012 “Cool Places to Work in Michigan” by Crain’s Detroit Business and Best Companies Group. MIPRO managing partner and CEO Jim Prokes made the announcement.

“We continually strive to create a team environment where our employees are passionate about what they do and excited to come to work every day,” said Prokes. “Being included in this elite group of Michigan companies is a great honor and a testament to our ongoing efforts to make MIPRO an outstanding work environment.”

This annual survey, presented by Crain’s, recognizes Michigan’s best employers through an extensive two-step process. The first step is an employer questionnaire that captures important information like company policies, practices, demographics and employer benefits. The second survey is sent to employees to fill out anonymously. This portion consists of approximately 72 statements that employees respond to on a five-point agreement scale. The survey also includes two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions. Results are analyzed and categorized according to eight core focus areas, including leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, work environment, role satisfaction and more

Winners were featured in the Nov. 5 issue of Crain’s Detroit Business and will be highlighted at a celebratory ceremony in December at Emagine Theatre in Royal Oak, Mich.
