Position Description:

As a MIPRO Technical Consultant, you will participate in the activities associated with the design, development, and support for PeopleSoft implementation or upgrade projects. Work with clients to combine business and technical solutions in the development of PeopleSoft applications. Perform as a member of a project team to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood.This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and link those tasks to business initiatives. Familiarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle and expertise in utilizing software implementation methodology based on industry best practices.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides PeopleSoft HCM/FMS/SCM technical expertise.
  • Participates in the development life-cycle for the delivery of PeopleSoft solutions using IT design, development, change management and architecture standards.
  • Review functional specifications and create technical specifications for software changes and enhancements.
  • Perform programming and testing of customized online or batch functionality.
  • Assist with data conversion, developing interfaces with other applications, and performance tuning.
  • Configures product to meet business requirements and design specifications.
  • Application expert and end-user liaison for post-implementation issues regarding detailed/technical system capabilities and enhancement requirements.
  • Perform maintenance support (e.g., patch application) and application enhancements to support end-user requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
  • Effectively track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns via status reports and communication to management.

Skill Requirements:

  • 5 years of overall development experience of PeopleSoft applications/process in People Tools version 8.X such as Application Designer, Workflow, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration tools, and Component Interface.
  • Knowledge of Application messaging and EIP knowledge.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, and be strong and effective communicator.
  • 4 year degree and/or equivalent business experience.
  • Functional knowledge of HCM, FMS, or SCM applications.
  • Database knowledge (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL skills.
  • Experience with IIS, WebLogic, HTML. Java/Active X, JSP, ASP preferred.
  • Must have strong analytical skills for debugging and problem solving.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100%
