Quarterly PeopleSoft New Features Update

Did you know there were 43 new features and functionality delivered in HCM Images 22 and 23? These features especially impact Core HR. 

There were also 44 new features and functionality delivered in FSCM Image 25 and 26, impacting the financial and supply chain modules. The enhancements are spread across the modules but include multiple Fluid Approvals enhancements for Maintenance Management, Asset Management and Purchasing.

Of these new features more than 35 of them are Fluid related enhancements continuing PeopleSoft’s commitment to move more and more functionality to Fluid.

This feature allows you to measure Supplier performance against a set of targets to ensure that the supplier is meeting your organizational requirements. Supplier Scorecarding subjectively evaluates your suppliers using evaluation templates, weighted and scored questions, solicitation of evaluations from your users, and scorecard analytics that have drill down capabilities.

General FSCM Enhancements

Enhanced the VAT Registration feature in support of the Spanish law that makes it mandatory to deliver the VAT register of received and submitted invoices, as well as interstate shipments, electronically to the tax authorities via a predetermined XML format. Spanish organizations must report to their tax authorities, within four days of the issuance or receipt of a supplier or customer invoice. The tax authority confirms the tax calculation and provides a return file with the status for each invoice. This law was effective July 1, 2017.

Starting with PeopleTools 8.56, PeopleSoft Classic Plus is replacing the traditional PeopleSoft Classic User Interface as the standard user interface for PeopleSoft applications. A Classic Plus Setup page has been delivered to review the delivered pages for Classic Plus, as well as process Classic Plus setting changes.

Added the Modify End Dates feature to provide an efficient method of updating end dates in Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing.
